Skills and Abilities
A safety coordinator, usually working under general supervision, conducts safety audits and inspections and evaluates and ensures improvements for job-sit safety personnel. A safety coordinator will usually be assigned to a large project or several smaller projects at one time. A safety manager works usually under general supervision and conducts comprehensive safety audits and procedures. They also maintain accident and insurance records as required by OSHA, and provides advice and or training to less experienced safety engineers and coordinators.
